Family Ministries

 
The primary task of Family Ministries is to listen to and communicate with people of all ages within the community and church – to help families to grow in their Christian faith and improve their quality of life.  We also work with other committees in promoting their programs.

Some of the programs and activities planned are:
-    Block Party (June)
-    Fall Fling/Trunk or Treat (October)
-    Arts and Crafts Show (November)
-    Mothers’ and Fathers’ Day  (May and June)
-    Pastor Appreciation Day(October)
-    Sights/Sounds/Smells of Christmas (Advent workshop)
-    Three-Quarter Club Luncheon ( 75 and over)
-    Palm Sunday (help with the food for the egg hunt – April)
-    Brunch for our graduating seniors (May)
-    Reception for children’s Christmas program(December)
-    Red, White, and Blue Sunday  (July)
-    Old Fashioned Box Lunch (August)
-    Back to School Tailgate Party (August)
-    Camp Day (June)
-    Craft nights
-    Game nights
-    Financial Peace University (Biblically-based accountability class that trains the congregation and community on how to manage their resources)
